Protection of the environment is integral to Heavy Metal Marine's business success. Our commitment is to act as responsible stewards of the environment. This is determined by the philosophy that our business activities will have the least possible impact on the environment, and where possible leave it better than we found it.
This policy is implemented and maintained, by:
- Defining measurable objectives and targets, and defined responsibilities and accountabilities for each project;
- Develop environmental management plans prior to any activity that has the potential to negatively impact on the environment;
- Develop and maintain environmental contingency response plans;
- Provide the resources, supervision, information and training to ensure our people can and do work in an environmentally responsible manner;
- Achieve a level of environmental performance that goes beyond that required for legislative and regulatory compliance;
- Continually reduce our environmental footprint while delivering value to our clients.
