Pile Driving

Heavy Metal Marine is an experienced pile driving company. With three cranes, two barges, tug boat, hammer and link belt, Heavy Metal can provide pile driving services for a variety of project types and sizes.

A driven pile, which is installed by impact hammering, vibrating or pushing the pile into the earth, is a relatively long, slender column, provided to offer support or to resist forces. The most common use of the driven pile is in deep foundations.

Excavating

Dredging

With the help of affiliate company Heavy Metal Excavating, Heavy Metal Marine can provide two main categories of dredging services:

Capital dredging: creating harbors or waterways or deepening the existing water area by removing mud, sand and silt from the water body floor in order to allow larger ships access to that area of water.

Maintenance dredging: The more common of the two, involves deepening existing waterways which have built up silt over time as a result of sand and mud being deposited by water currents. These waterways may become too shallow for navigation and thus, dredging must occur in order to restore water depths.

Delivery Services

We can deliver anything, anywhere. From a small dock to a marina, dock hardware to ramps. Local delivery is included. Call for more information.
