History
Heavy Metal Marine began in 2004 as a best friend partnership, constructing docks and floats that have endured the test of time. Lifelong friends, Brian Freethy and Ashly Williams, both grew up on Vancouver Island surrounded by oceans and lakes. They had a dream, and that is how Heavy Metal Marine came to be. Watching their company grow into what it is today, Brian and Ashly recognize the importance of being directly involved in every project and truly believe “if you can dream it, we can build it.”Our reputation for providing customers with the highest-quality products has been earned by developing effective, long-term business relationships that result in a seamless construction process. This history of craftsmanship, customer service, stability, and relationship building are what sets us apart from everyone else.
